Medium: Recycled aluminum.

The Emperial Mushroom is a site-specific installation interacts with the bank of Huong River in Hue City. Here, a relentless contention for locations with a river-view is going on, where all hotels wants to be built higher. The artwork was named after "Imperial Hotel", a local building which was erected two times more than the permitted height.

The work is a part of Ancient Capital Energy, Vietnam Youth Art Exhibition 2013, organized by the Hue Youth Artist Club.

The artwork was supported by the The Cultural Development and Exchange Fund (CDEF) - Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam.
