Statement

Certain people resolve to do away with their emotional baggage by rounding them up into certain caches in a drawer, where all that represents the shapes of a person’s face is referred by the forms of geometric squares and circles.

This round – square conception as a part of Oriental civilization has always been analogous to earth and heaven since the olden days, symbolic of all beings multitude, a response of an individual toward on-going worldly affairs in which all memories and feelings are preserved close to one’s heart as long as it might last, rather than being expressed in an instant only to fall into oblivion thereafter.

This work has been selected among the 23 finalists at the Dogma Prize 2017.
