Description

This installation is Nguyễn Minh Phước’s third work in a series that started with Sleepwalking and The Circle. While The Circle poses questions about civility, consciousness, and social responsibility, Don’t patch wings up probes into social pathologies of superficiality, achievement obsession, and deceit in the then society. Magnificent imagery of elevating lanterns, together with images concealed in the inside, alludes to the media and its hypocrisy.
