Statement

For me, hair is not only about beauty but also about personal identity. It is intimacy and privacy, which consists of time and memory. The process of cutting hair into small pieces resembles the ritual or meditation. Is this process able to erase the haunting of memory?

In these bodies of work, hair does not remain its original appearance or characteristics, it becomes powder, small pieces, is transformed into the state of being ephemera, dissolved and disappearing easily. By this process, I would like to examine the relationship between memory and body, through the way we affect our memory via our body.
